This is the second edition of a well tested book. In this pack, you will also receive two sets of recordings, one set for beginners and the other for more advanced practitioners. These recorded instructions are helpful if you want someone to talk you through the sequences.

Hatha Yoga promotes physical, emotional and mental balance, well-being and health; and it helps to awaken people's consciousness to spiritual dimensions lying dormant inside them.

THE BOOKLET contains a clear sequence of over 200 drawings matched to simple instructions. It presents a basic, yet comprehensive physical yoga sequence. There are clear guidelines for beginners. The sequence promotes bodily, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. 
THE YOGA INSTRUCTION RECORDINGS (2 CDs, or 2 MP3s):
 These two recordings must be used in conjunction with the booklet. They takes the user through the full yoga sequence. The pace is relaxed and easy. Each half of the sequence takes 45 minutes. Ideal for beginners, it assumes no familiarity with yoga.
THE YOGA PRACTICE RECORDING (1 CD, or 2 MP3s): This recording must also be used in conjunction with the booklet. Designed for people with some experience, it promotes rapid development. One track completes the full yoga sequence in 45 minutes, the other in 30 minutes. 
Beginners can become skilful very quickly by starting with the Yoga Instruction CDs/MP3's, then moving on to the Yoga practice CDs/MP3's.

A Beginner's Guide to YOGA

Ken Mellor - This package includes two recording (in CDs or MP3s) and a yoga booklet called: Hatha Yoga for Westerners: Selected Postures and Sequences.

This kit is for the beginner. Each of the two parts takes 45 minutes. You can use both CDs/MP3s in one session, or use only part of them. Using only parts to begin with is more usual to many people. Also, of course, you can start the recordings where you like and stop where you like.

The pace of the instructions is slow and relaxed and many hints are given about how to get into and out of the postures as easily as possible. 

It is a great approach to learning yoga.

Ideal for those with yoga experience

Ken Mellor - This package includes one recording (in CD or MP3) and a yoga booklet Hatha Yoga for Westerners: Selected Postures and Sequences.

This kit is for people who are familiar with the sequence presented in the booklet, people who are already able to do the postures and sequences.

The 45 minute track talks you through the whole sequence at an easy pace. The 30 minute track is more demanding, although very manageable for experienced practitioners.

This is a wonderful way for experienced people to do yoga.
