GEELONG WORKSHOPS

Leaders: Ken and Elizabeth Mellor are internationally renowned parent educators who each have over 30 years of experience in working with children and parents. Their books include ParentCraft, Teen Stages, Easy Parenting and The Happy Family.

Dates: Elizabeth and Ken will run three one-day workshops from May 18th-20th.

Venue: At least two workshops will be at the Grovedale Community Centre.

 

Workshop 1: Raising Children 0-12years
Elizabeth and Ken will explore tried and tested ways for parents to deal with a wide range of family situations catering. Their suggestions will cater to the needs of both parents and children, and in volve love and discipline, setting standards and limits. They will offer their insights into the cycles and stages of childhood; and how our own background as children contribute to our family dynamics now we are parents.

Workshop 2: Raising Teenagers 12-21yrs
"teens"—and give advice on raising them—as if they're all the same? No wonder so many parents are frustrated and sense they are missing something. Experience the relief when you discover that they are like six different people as the teen years unfold. Gain easy-to-apply practical advice you can use right away.
