24th - 26th June, 2016
Ken and Elizabeth Mellor

Ken and Elizabeth will describe Life as a hidden template that underlies everyone and everything in creation. Paradoxically, it is invisible, beyond our everyday capacities to experience or observe. It is, in this respect, somewhat like the fields of a magnet and gravity. These are virtually invisible and only known through the distinctive impact their hidden influences have on what they enfold.

Life, as an underlying, hidden template, saturates everything in oneness, wholeness, completion, love, presence, fulfilment and more. And it is perpetually present in all things and fulfills itself through producing those same qualities in them.

Life-Energy is, by contrast, observable and ever obvious in everyday terms. As living creatures, it is the aliveness that floods us. It includes physical vitality, feelings and emotions, cognitive appreciation, and observably transcendent experiences, including bliss, love and a sense of “holy” presence, i.e., wholeness.

Grounding is a living process at the root of our aliveness that enables us to integrate all our experiences. Involving awareness, it does this by awakening us to and integrating both the internal dimensions of our physical responses and the external dimensions of our sensory awareness. It is what enables us to live in equilibrium, balance, and ease. By digesting all energy, it also releases us from the remnants of experiences in the past, and the “reach back” of events yet to occur. It enables us to live the benefits of the Life-Energy flowing through us.

Exercises, meditations, and discussion will give abundant opportunities to awaken to and to integrate these powerful dimensions in our lives. Each one of them contributes significant benefits to us. Participants will leave the workshop both with some understanding of these three dimensions, and skills is honoring them in their daily lives.

Tricks of the Trade

Some demanding clients challenge even the best practitioners at times.  Whether a health professional, lawyer, teacher or salesperson, emotionally demanding clients or customers can make our work tricky. They stimulate discomfort and uncertainty in even the most seasoned of practitioners.

Fortunately, there are tricks of the trade that help us to deal with difficult people. These practices help clarify what is happening, the “hooks” and traps to avoid, and what to do effectively to address the situations we face.

This one-day workshop will give you:

  1. understanding of some dynamics at play in tricky encounters
  2. orientations that allow us to be open, perceptive and assertive
  3. ways to identify the hooks and invitations to “dance” and
  4. strategies for handling these people and situations.

Participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions and seek advice about particular clients. The standard rules of confidentiality will be requested and maintained.
